Our Core Team

Programs Advisor

Ben Mzoma Kondowe is a development practitioner with over 10 years of experience in program development, learning, monitoring and evaluation, and communication. He holds a BA in Humanities from the University of Malawi, attended a Master of Public Health at KUHeS, and earned a certificate in Foundations of Public Health Practice: Behaviour & Behaviour Change from Imperial College London. With a background in teaching at both secondary and tertiary levels, he brings expertise in education, public health, and community development to his role as Programs Advisor.

Programs Director

Harry Banda holds a Bachelor of Public Health from Lake Malawi Anglican University and a Diploma in Public Health from MUBAS. He is passionate about community development, public health, and climate change mitigation efforts, and brings this dedication into his leadership as Programs Director. With a strong background in health and community engagement, Harry provides strategic direction and ensures that programs are impactful, sustainable, and responsive to community needs.

Success Stories

Empowering Youth: Jane's Journey

Jane, a young woman living with HIV, joined HCBO's peer support group in 2023. Through mentorship and access to healthcare, she regained confidence and now leads community awareness sessions, inspiring others to overcome stigma and pursue their dreams.
